Lauren Shaw unknowingly entered the world of prospect research in May of 2009 when she applied for an on-campus student job in the “Research office” of the “Advancement department” at Utah State – whatever that was! It didn’t take long for her to realize she loved this previously unknown field (and as an added bonus - management thought she picked it up pretty well.) After graduating from Utah State University in May 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, she was hired full-time as a prospect researcher. She became the Treasurer for APRA-Utah in July 2011. One of the “truest” Aggies you’ll ever meet, she and her husband Carter reside in Logan while he finishes his degree(s!) in Finance and Economics at Utah State.
