Conferences:

APRA-Canada celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2010 by holding its 2nd National Conference in Toronto in October 2010 called Advancing Research: Inspiring Innovation. Speakers included Peter Wylie and David Lamb as well as experienced Canadian professionals from across the country. The conference was a major success attracting over 200 participants including some from the United States. APRA-Canada plans to have another national conference in 2012, details to be announced.

Communications:

The Communications Team is responsible for maintaining the branch Web site (www.apracanada.ca) and the publication of The Scoop: Raising Canadian Research, a quarterly publication that shares information about the profession.

Regional Chairs:

Regional chairs are the backbone of APRA-Canada. These volunteers came forward without hesitation. They have networked and organized their regions, reached out to both full time prospect researchers and those wearing multiple fundraising hats. They helped to greatly expand the APRA-Canada membership base.

Professional Development:

APRA Canada presents several virtual seminars throughout the year on a variety of topics.

Mentor Program:
