APRA International has 29 chapters in the continental United States and Canada. Each APRA chapter has its own unique structure and personality, but many offer the following benefits:

•  Professional development grants
•  Annual report and other material swaps

Each APRA chapter has an executive committee that determines dues, recruits members, organizes chapter activities, and communicates with APRA International about chapter events and membership.

APRA International supports its chapters in a variety of ways, including:

• Individual Liability Insurance provided for chapter directors
• Staff support for tax documents and insurance
• Mentoring of chapter leadership
• Chapter recognition at annual APRA International Conferences

Chapter membership is a great way to stay connected to colleagues in your region. Service as a chapter leader, event speaker, or committee member is an excellent leadership skill development opportunity for all APRA International members.
