The educational program for the APRA Annual International Conference is developed by the Conference Curriculum Planning Committee under the guidance and direction of the APRA Board of Directors and APRA Education staff. To provide a professional, diverse and high-quality educational program, presenters for the conference range from experienced practitioners to expert faculty, senior managers and leading industry consultants.

All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines.

  • Presentations are to be original and are not be presented elsewhere for three months before or three months after the APRA conference.
  • If selected as an APRA conference presenter, you must agree to provide electronic copies of handouts for your session by the May 18, 2010 deadline so attendees can electronically access course materials that complement and reinforce presentations before the conference.
  • Session titles should be no more than five words, including an active verb.
  • Session descriptions must be one paragraph and no longer than 100 words each. (accepted submissions with descriptions longer than 100 words will be edited without notice) 
  • Speaker biographies must be no longer than 100 words each. (accepted speakers with biographies longer than 100 words will be edited without notice) 
  • All submissions must be written in the active tense.
  • All submissions will be edited to comply with AP style.
  • Sales-oriented language is not acceptable. No sales oriented submissions will be considered for presentation.
 

Note: By submitting a proposal through this Call for Presentations, you give APRA the authority to electronically post your presentation, abstract, learning points and personal biography online, and to publish them in printed APRA materials. In addition, APRA reserves the right to edit your abstract, learning points, personal biography, audience experience level and presentation track for consistency, grammar and target audience as necessary.
