Attendance may have been down, thanks to the economic crisis of 2008–2009, but spirits were high among the more than 700 fundraising professionals who gathered in Boston for superior education and networking as well as first-hand information and product demonstrations in the exhibit hall. Highlights included:
- Ileana van der Linde's keynote presentation titled The World Wealth Report — Understanding a Changing Landscape was among the most well-received of the conference. David Eberly interviewed van der Linde for the Fall issue of Connections.
- During the Annual Membership Meeting, board members shared the association's successes and announced 2009 award winners. Read more in the Annual Member Report.
- 17 exhibitors provided information and demonstrated tools that fundraising professionals can use to make their campaigns even more successful.
- More than 250 people followed APRA on Twitter to get real-time updates and keep up with colleagues around the world. Follow @APRA_HQ to keep the conversation going.
