If there is one thing I have learned about adapting big ideas to small shops it is that it will look different in practice for everyone. If that is the case, then what can I offer you? In this presentation, I offer you a formula for using "big idea" best practices in your small shop and a personal experience of how to make it work. I have been the Prospect Development expert in my shop of one, now two, for the past 5 years. We started with the bare minimum of prospect research and now have sophisticated strategy for prospect research, moves management, portfolio development, strategic relationship building, reporting, metrics, and data analytics.
