Time: 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM

Description:

A well-developed, strategic career plan can prepare prospect development professionals for change and foster their ability to grow and to lead others. Participants will learn about the elements of strategic planning adapted for individual career planning. Strategic planning methods have been successfully guiding organizations for decades. Done well, this method of planning enables an individual to be responsive to challenges and opportunities as they arise, rather than being reactive. Having created a clear mission and vision for the future, with a foundation of carefully developed core values, professionals are better equipped to keep their eyes on the horizon and achieve their long-term goals.

Regardless of career stage, going through a strategic career planning process offers valuable benefits. Worksheets and a resource list are provided so that participants may continue developing their career strategic plans on their own.
