Description:

Attendees will learn how to conduct a daily news roundup for development and/or advancement staff, based on current news found in a variety of online sources. The session will focus on creating a newsletter template, identifying topics of interests to fundraisers and advancement staff, using breaking news alerts, and identifying key prospects in the news. Along the way, we'll discuss effective, free push technology resources, how to set up alerts, assess quality of resources and avoid fake news.
