Advanced Research
Topics and techniques that encompass best practices, emerging technologies, financial analysis and comprehensive issues targeted to researchers with more than three years of experience and directors and managers of research who are interested in staying abreast of contemporary issues and research methods.

Campaigns
Information dedicated to research, management and fundraising issues surrounding the planning, implementation and management of campaigns.

Data Analytics
Focused on inference and processes of deriving conclusions from information in data to support an information driven decision culture. Includes discovery, statistics, data quality issues, high dimensional data mining, data visualization, predictive modeling, database management, implementation, information theory and the overall trends in the market.

Healthcare
Education addressing topics that are unique and pertain specifically to research and fundraising in healthcare organizations.

Management and Professional Development
Sessions to strengthen leadership, problem-solving, communication and management skills, and address program management, staff supervision and organizational development.

Member and Cause-Related Organizations
Addresses topics that are unique and specifically pertain to research and fundraising in non-educational, member and cause-related organizations (typically comprising arts, human services, environmental, religious and national organizations).
 
Prospect Identification
Practices and techniques for identifying new prospects using data sources, and techniques to provide critical and initial prospect information for future successful cultivation and solicitation strategies.

Information for individuals and managers engaged in relationship management and prospect tracking systems including database management, data analysis and reporting.

Research Fundamentals
Basic research topics and techniques that encompass essential skill development and common approaches to research activities. Topics are targeted to researchers with less than three years of experience and non-researchers interested in learning more about the essential functions of research in the development process.

Trends
Curriculum education showcasing trends and technology to keep a pulse on the latest industry developments. Includes new offerings in research technology, data analytics, campaign trends and innovative tips on prospect identification and data mining.


2. Experience Levels

Fundamental
Sessions intended for those seeking an introduction to best practices and methodologies or additional insight into the subject matter. Sessions at this level are designed to provide fundamentals.

Intermediate
Sessions intended for professionals with some Development experience who want to enhance their skills, master more complicated techniques and gain an in-depth understanding of best practices and methodologies.

Advanced
Sessions intended for seasoned professionals who want to strengthen their management and leadership skills, foster strategic partnerships, and refine problem-solving techniques often required in advanced positions.

Solutions Showcase sessions are open to APRA members only, who register and attend the live webcast and access the recording at no charge.  Non-members can access the recording post-webcast.
