336: The Data is in the Details: Leading Change Management and Strategic Thinking in a Campaign

Track: Data Analytics

Session Number: 336
Date: Fri, Jul 28th, 2017
Time: 3:45 PM - 4:30 PM

Description:

The underlying truths about fundraising success are often hidden in the tables and fields of our databases. Ours is a tale of two cities, a story about creating a data-driven culture with small research shops in maturing major gifts programs, one at an institution of higher education and another at an international human rights organization. What story does our data tell and what part of the story are we telling our volunteers, leadership, and staff in order to convince our multiple constituencies of campaign success? Learn how we influence major gift asks and what short terms wins and long term strategies we are targeting to foster and lead with culture of data analytics.
