Californians passed Proposition 13 by an overwhelming margin in 1978, reducing property taxes and limiting how much taxes could go up per year. How has it affected (and continue to affect) prospect research? Attendees will learn the history of Prop. 13, strategies property owners use to continue tax breaks despite ownership transfer, and how to find more accurate property values.
