This is a continuation of the speakers' previous presentation at Prospect Development 2014. In the first presentation, the speakers discussed how collaboration between prospect development and gift planning resulted in new analytic tools for prospect identification, as well as methods to encourage collaboration between gift planning and major gift officers. In this presentation, the speakers will discuss more complex giving vehicles such as charitable trusts and stock transfers, what tools and custom reports were developed to identify prospects who may be particularly interested in these vehicles, and ways to encourage colleagues to collaborate with gift planning to provide prospects with better opportunities to fund their legacy gifts.
