Session Number: 113
Date: Wed, Jul 26th, 2017
Time: 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Description:

Are you the manager of a small research shop (teams of four or less) and often feel like you’re “Alone” and/or “Livin’ On a Prayer”? Overcoming Challenges in a Small Shop is an open forum for small shop managers to discuss shared issues, challenges, and success stories. Initial topics for discussion include recruiting, managing, and developing talent, as well as how to organize your small shop, particularly in light of the changing research landscape (e.g., how can we incorporate analytics into our shop?). The moderator will also survey attendees prior to the session in case there are other burning topics to “Open Your Heart” about.
