Building strong partnerships with Development Officers is a crucial aspect of Relationship Management. At the University of Southern California (USC), the Relationship Management team adapted a liaison based structure to offer more hands on assistance to all front line development officers and their support staff. The session will outline strategies liaisons use to assist development officers with on-boarding, portfolio management and following Relationship Management policy/procedures.

Attendees will learn how the liaison structure is used to build internal relationships with development officers; and how to leverage that relationship into optimal development officer performance.
