DAS 9A: A Tool for Data-Driven Portfolio Reviews

Track: Data Analytics Symposium

Session Number: DAS 9A
Date: Thu, Jul 27th, 2017
Time: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM

Description:

Portfolio Reviews are essential for ensuring that major gift officers can focus on the best prospects for your organization, but they can be very time-consuming for the prospect research/management analysts tasked with providing recommendations to prioritize, keep, or remove each of a gift officer’s 150+ prospects. To make this process more efficient and the outcomes more consistent, we developed an Excel tool at Dana-Farber that enables our analysts to use data to make the same (and sometimes better) recommendations in a fraction of the time.
