Track: Data Analytics Symposium

Session Number: DAS 7B
Date: Thu, Jul 27th, 2017

Description:

Analytics has developed extensively in fundraising to the point where can we accurately track KPI's as well as predict donor outcomes based upon past engagement. There is one element still missing--"why"?

This session will look to dive deeper than simply predicting behavior ("what will happen"), into the truly transformative approach of understanding, and ultimately driving donor behavior ("why its happening") through prescriptive analytics, forecasting, and optimization.

Many of the worlds leading for profit organizations have been unlocking these behavioral secrets for decades, and this session will cover a broad range of fundamental (asking questions that matter) to the advanced (text analytics) techniques and tools to help you understand the true drivers of your supporters engagement.
