Track: Data Analytics Symposium

Session Number: 1171
Date: Wed, Aug 8th, 2018
Time: 3:15 PM - 3:45 PM
Room: Room 315-316

Description:

Crowdfunding campaigns across North America raised over $17 billion in 2017, with this relatively new industry expected to continue its rapid growth in coming years. To position themselves for future success, nonprofits need to be confident and strategic in their decision-making, as the digital advertising channels that most effectively drive interest in peer-to-peer campaigns are costly to utilize. Fortunately, with the rise in popularity of peer-to-peer programs comes a new wealth of data with much to teach us about these programs and the people who engage with them. Specialized predictive analytics can help nonprofits identify their best prospects for this particular type of fundraising, differentiating between those who are likely to donate and those who are likely to lead teams and act as long-term influencers for an organization. In this session, Blackbaud Target Analytics will examine exciting new data around peer-to-peer fundraising that can help nonprofits optimize their own peer-to-peer campaigns.
