Description:

This case study will introduce attendees to the fundRaising R package specifically for fundraising analytics. The presentation will demonstrate how to install and use the package as well as how to report issues and request additional features. Finally, opportunities to submit code will be discussed.

Recommended Prerequisites: Some familiarity with R and RStudio will be helpful but is not required to use the package. To provide feedback some understanding of Github is required and knowledge of the Git workflow is required for those who would like to collaborate and add more code.
Learning Objective #1: Attendees will learn how to load an R package with tools just for fundraising analytics and how to use this package on their own data.
Learning Objective #2: Attendees will also learn how to interact with the project creators and maintainers using forms on the website Github. This knowledge can be used to help attendees provide feedback and request features from a number of different projects, not just this on
