Biting Off as Much as You Can Chew: Managing the Wealth Screening Data Smorgasbord

Track: Prospect Research

Session Number: 2022
Date: Thu, Aug 1st, 2019
Time: 2:15 PM - 3:45 PM
Room: Grand Sonoran G

Description:

When organizations embark on a wealth screening, the idea of updated wealth and modeling data is exciting, but potentially overwhelming. Prospect Development must process and fully utilize the new “smorgasbord” of data. Presenters and their wealth screening consultant will share how they made the implementation process manageable, breaking down their data into “bite-sized” pieces. This presentation will walk attendees through the Iowa State University Foundation’s approach to managing their fourth wealth screening: from initial data transformation, wealth verification, principal-level capacity assignment, and the final roll out and training for development officers.
