While it may be difficult to define a typical campaign these days, it can be remarkably easy to identify “nontraditional” when it is seen. This presentation examines The Nature Conservancy’s Our World Campaign, the largest environmental campaign ever undertaken. The speaker will share experiences tackling traditional campaign-oriented prospect development roles and functions in the context of a highly decentralized organizational environment amid an evolving organizational mission shift. Attendees will learn how a unique campaign structure and a diverse array of financial and non-financial campaign goals impacts those roles and functions.
