Learn how fully utilizing a donor database allowed a prospect management team to successfully align data management with fundraising priorities. In 2017, after a department restructure, including the introduction of an individual giving team, Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh’s advancement department needed a system to track fundraising priorities for four museums, demonstrate pipeline growth, and monitor departmental and fundraiser performance. Beyond the development of a robust reporting system, what emerged was a strong collaborative relationship between the data experts and frontline gift officers. Working together, these colleagues have combined their experiences to improve how the Museums manage its fundraising priorities and strengthen donor relationships.
