Description:

The ability to ply data in a SQL database before using it in a reporting, visualization or modeling application makes that higher-level work easier. We will focus on writing queries with window functions for common fundraising tasks like calculating consecutive years of giving with some time devoted to other database features and to avoiding pitfalls.

Learning Objective #2: Attendees can identify common errors and use their fundraising domain knowledge to judge whether output of a query is reasonable.
