A to Z Campaign Prep

Track: Campaigns

Session Number: 3093
Date: Tue, Aug 25th, 2020
Time: 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM

Description:

A is for Advisory Board, B is for Budget, C is the Campaign Case for Support…, best sung to the Sharon, Lois and Bram ABC song, join Tracey Church and Suzanne Hallsworth as they walk you through the steps of pre-campaign prep. Tracey provides many years of experience from the research development and consultant perspective while Suzanne provides her perspective as the Senior Development Officer at the Oakville Hospital Foundation which recently completed its successful $65 million campaign. Tracey and Suzanne dive into internal (and external) readiness for a campaign including feasibility studies, resources required (including human), potential stumbling blocks, healthy pipelines, building team relationships (and strategies), and when to use consultants (and when not to). Are you ready for campaign? You’ve heard it many times before – let Tracey and Suzanne better prepare you for the 5-10 years of campaign ahead of you and how to develop a sense of confidence (and caution) for a successful campaign. And yes, walk away with a handy ABC Campaign tune!
