With so many different news sources to scour, many tracking tools and subscriptions at our fingertips - what’s the best way to filter the news from the noise? Once we’ve done that, how can we push our alerts into action items for development officers, without falling into information overload? Join us for a session on how to set yourself up for success with strategic news alerts. We will share our process and guidelines for how to set up alerts on top prospects, the importance of defining news alert categories and appropriate distribution groups, as well as how to capture development officers’ attention with direct, to-the-point action items. This session will show simple, effective techniques for how Prospect Development can drive action through alerts, put our recommendations front-and-center and build trust with development officers.
