Meaningful Contacts: how to automatically flag them and use them with your teams.

Track: Data Science

Session Number: 5022
Date: Wed, Jul 27th, 2022
Time: 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM
Room: International 9

Description:

For the past couple of years making in-person visits has become a challenge. Good news is that Email, Phone, and Online can all advance the cause if true communication happened. And in fact, in later stages of prospect development trying to force a visit on an already busy high net worth prospect can often hurt the cause … whereas a phone call or email dialog can actually be much more effective. And, believe it or not (??), not all visits are actually meaningful … for example, “Bumped into Bob at his reunion”. In this session we’ll talk about how management and prospect research can best support MGO’s in this new world, as well as best practices for time management. We'll also share how our clients are using text parsing algorithms to automatically flag a connection as “meaningful” based what’s captured in the notes. Not hard to do. We’ll additionally talk about how teams are going beyond visits & contacts to more strategic performance drivers.
