Sandy will lead you in a lesson of inclusion. Beginning her career in fundraising as a prospect manager, then researcher as part of the Advancement Services team, she recalls that these roles were viewed as supporting roles. Now, as a manager over Data Intelligence and Research, she wants to rewrite the narrative and in doing so, she categorizes her team as not only essential, but also primary to the fundraising effort. She encourages all of APRA to do the same to elevate prospect research and management at every organization. WE ARE ALL FUNDRAISERS is the mantra she shares with her team.
