Description:

This year’s Data Science Now challenge was focused on donor retention through a fiscal year end solicitation. Kelly’s project uses Tableau and animated videos built in PowerPoint to tell the story of a fundraising team’s efforts to stop Churn, a formidable foe seeking to prevent donor retention. With help from the Wizard and the Oracle, can the team save their donors from Churn’s influence? During this session we will explore the art of data storytelling, learn some cool communication tips, and dive into how Kelly used RFM and velocity to create donor segments and build a solicitation strategy. All audiences and experience levels are welcome!
