A Note From The 2020 Plug In To Campaigns Chairman, Chris Brakenbury

"Campaigns are as diverse in form and function as the institutions for which they raise money! Whether you are involved with micro-campaigns, bridge campaigns, capital campaigns, or comprehensive campaigns, the strategic partnerships we build with annual giving, marketing, and other development teams are critical to success. Please join me for this year’s Plug In to Campaigns virtual event and see what the Prospect Development field, and you, have to offer the world of fundraising campaigns."

Chris Brakenbury is the director of campaign operations for advancement at The Ohio State University. For ten years, Chris built and continuously strengthened Ohio State’s prospect development program. During the latter part of his tenure with the program, he became involved in the effort to plan a multi-billion-dollar campaign, including the evaluation and evolution of fundraising policies, operations and pipeline. Building on that experience, Chris shifted his focus to become the director of campaign operations. In this role, he supports campaign activities and leverages them to drive continuous improvement within the Advancement organization.
